Home Health and Energy Audit |
|
|
What is it? Our Home Health and Energy Audit is much more valuable than a typical energy audit. Along with energy use, we also take water and land use, indoor air quality, waste and all of our other areas of focus into account. We can inspect and test your home with advanced diagnostic equipment in order to determine how you can best improve your energy and water efficiency, comfort and indoor air quality, among other benefits. All of our clients also get special access to our "Customer Corner." Here you will have access to educational articles, resources and more.

We realize that different clients have different needs and budgets. In order to accommodate for this, we offer two different home health and energy audits for you to choose from:
- Our Standard audit is usually the best choice for most clients. It includes a home consultation, comprehensive home health and energy audit and basic customized report (usually 3-5 pages). The home consultation will allow clients to discuss any questions, concerns and/or areas of interest with one of our trained auditors. The comprehensive audit will include a thorough qualitative and quantitative inspection of the crawlspace, home interior and exterior, and attic. The audit will make use of advanced diagnostic equipment (e.g. blower door and/or infrared camera) to locate specific problem areas. The report will contain a custom recommendations and observations from the audit. See "Pricing" for cost information.
- A Basic audit includes a home consultation, basic home health and energy audit, and summary report (1-2 pages). The basic audit will include a mostly qualitative inspection without the use of advanced diagnostic equipment. The report will contain a summary of key recommendations with minimal customization. This option is for individuals on a tight budget needed some basic guidance on what they need to do.
- Our Premium audit includes everything from the standard audit, as well as the use of more advanced diagnostic equipment, testing, and lab analysis for gas leaks, water and indoor air pollutants. It also includes a customized report with detailed recommendations and observations (usually around 20 pages).
